Magical day

Hello lovely people,

After an utterly wonderful time chilling out with my fabulous friends yesterday I have mostly been crafting up a storm.  Well, the weather isn't up to much so what else is a girl to do?!

It's time for a new challenge at In The Pink and because we are celebrating both our 4th birthday and our 100th challenge our theme this time is...

ANYTHING GOES!

But don't forget we want to see more pink than any other colour!

Our fabulous sponsor this time is...
The Pink Ladies!
Each of us will be putting together a little package of gorgeous pinkness to send out to our winners, so there are six prizes up for grabs :-)

It's a cute CAS design from me today and done in the favourite colours of the recipient...I hope she also likes unicorns!

I took a deep breath and stayed away from the inky edges as I felt it might ruin the nice clean look to this card, but it was tough I can tell you!

Unicorns seem to be very on trend right now and I knew I had to get in on the action but gosh, there are a lot of lovely images out there to choose from!
No wonder I had trouble choosing which of them was going to come home with me...but eventually this one was the winner!

I was more than a little bit swayed by the gorgeous hair, as you know how much I like to colour hair!

I've even fussy cut the image, which I really try not to do because I always worry that I will cut off something vital - lol!

Yes, I realise that there is a die for this image but clever old me decided I didn't need it - ha!

If you haven't already done so then do pop over to In The Pink and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the Pink Ladies.

Fairy with unicorn

Hello lovely people,

I've just completed the last 2 study days in Bath for my prescribing course and the next time I'm there it will be for the final assessments - eek!

So I think I deserve a few days of relaxation now and I have some exciting crafty things coming up soon that I can't talk about yet but will certainly keep me busy!

But now it's time for a new challenge at As You Like It

and our theme is...

YOUR FAVOURITE...type of embossing
...and don't forget to tell us why it's your favourite!

Our sponsor this time is Freckled Fawn with a $15 gift card

I don't use any form of embossing very much but when I do, it's always the Frantage that I reach for because it is so pretty and perfect for creating a magical feel.

I went back to my Copics to colour this lovely fairy and her unicorn, and added a few pearly dots around the image.

All about hair

Hello lovely people,

What a lovely long weekend!
I had lots of fun walking in the sunshine, designing wedding stationary with a friend and making/eating what I consider to be the best pudding ever...behold the sticky toffee cheesecake...

I was going to do a spot of gardening yesterday morning but an enormous (2 inch thick!) bamboo pole fell on me, leaving a nasty gash under my eyebrow and requiring me to lie down with an ice pack for a bit :-(
Bamboo pole 1: Kat 0
Dr. Hubby was a star and planted out the many cannas all by himself!

Sadly, it's back to work for me today but of course it's time for a new challenge at Top Tip Tuesday and our theme this time is...

We have The East Wind as our lovely sponsor for this challenge and they are offering 3 images to the winner.
