Summer treats

Hello lovely people,

I am so very excited today as I am off on my holibobs tomorrow!  We are heading to Yorkshire for a week of walking and cream teas :-)

So, if I am a little MIA over the next week you will know why!

But before I go, it's time for a new challenge at In The Pink and our theme this time is...

SUMMER!

I feel like I've done quite a few fancy cards recently so thought I'd go CAS for this one.
I did my usual trick of colouring the image before stamping the sentiment and then hoping I didn't muck up the stamping of the sentiment!
I have this sentiment as part of a freebie set with a magazine but it's available from Clearly Besotted and let me tell you, their stamps are lovely and stamp so beautifully :-)



It seems like ages since I coloured up a gorgeous Wryn image and this one was perfect because you can't have summer without ice cream, right?!

    Well you know how much I love Wryn....... and this little lady is perfect for our theme with her yummy ice-cream!! LOVING your colouring of course... and that CAS layout is just right for her with that fab sentiment too.. I know that knee trembling feeling when you hope that it stamps OK!!

    We do seem to have such similar thoughts when it comes to our themes.. good job we didn't choose the same Wryn!

    Can't wait to see you in Yorkshire next week...... have a lovely time before we meet up... you really WILL love Yorkshire!

    Wow this is beautiful, fab colouring and great sentiment. I hate stamping the sentiment after colouring, nervewracking. Enjoy your hols, we are off to Yorkshire next month but I never put it on my blog or FB just in case. Have fun xx

    Kat, aww this is a truly beautiful card... Your colouring of that super cute Wryn is absolutely perfect (I know what you mean about stamping the sentiment though!, I always forget and end up doing it afterwards...with my eyes shut!!! (I did buy a 'stamp a majig' recently off Amazon which has really helped with those sticky moments)!!!

    Just a perfectly beautiful CAS card...

    Aww Kat, this card is utterly stunning! I love the pink gingham, so perfect for this card. Your colouring is fantastic and the sentiment is fab. Had to laugh about that being stamped last.
