Glamorous birthday girl

Hello lovely people,

I've had a fun but busy couple of days on my course in Bath, and I have slightly more of a clue what to do with the stethoscope I bought myself now!

After all that hard work, I am off to the Hobbycrafts show at the NEC today and will no doubt be treating myself to many new craft supplies!
I also hope to meet up with some wonderful crafting buddies, both ones I have met before and ones I haven't, so I'm super excited about that :-)

While I'm off spending my pennies, here's our new challenge at As You Like It and we have the theme of...

Other than crafting (obviously!) my favourite hobby is baking because I love to make yummy things to share with friends and family and I may have mentioned before that I have a very sweet tooth?!

This image is HUGE!  So, it really had to be a CAS design because there's not much room for anything else...just that cute arrow paperclip with the sentiment :-)

    This is great I love the colours you have chosen. Have a great time at the NEC and dont spend too much!! Lol I'd be sat playing with the stethoscope I'd be foreveer listening to my heart lol and putting it round my neck trying to look professional lol xx

    this is gorgeous Kat - love the paperclip - who'd have thought a paper clip could create such a statement! - enjoy your crafty spending, i would have loved to have gone to the NEC but it's such a long journey from here in the frozen north and I can't quite rev myself up to do it! hugs judith x

    Morning Kat, wow I love this card, that image is just gorgeous and yes she does only need to be added to a CAS card. Loving the way you have coloured her and fabulous paper clip that is just perfect. Enjoy the NEC I will be there on Saturday so leave something for me to buy. Hugs Jennifer xxx

    This is just gorgeous Kat.... I have my eyes on that big cake too! Wonderful colouring and a fab layout too... loving the paperclip arrow!

    Glad to hear your course is going well.... just be careful where you place that stethoscope tho! Hope you enjoyed yourself today at the NEC - I hear you were meeting up with Sue too... I imagine it is a much better show than the Harrogate one, which this year, was pretty awful! Don't forget, we want to see pics of your buys!!

    Hi Kat - yesterday was fab and aside from one or two small (ahem) purchases I think we were quite restrained!
    This card is dreamy. You have coloured the image beautifully - the stripes on her dress look amazing and wonderful hair too. Your card design is so pretty and stylish and suits her perfectly. Finally - you are one super inspirational lady because who would ever have thought that a paper clip could be so fabulous!
