Magic and sparkle

Hello lovely people,

My trip to Ikea yesterday was great; I don't really enjoy the experience all that much and Dr. Hubby certainly doesn't, but I got all the lovely things I wanted...and just a few extra storage boxes.
Because you can never have too many storage boxes, right?!

Today I have a new In The Pink challenge to share with you and our theme this time is...

MAGICAL

I was having a CAS moment for this one as I felt it suited the image and I do love a bit of polka dot DP, especially if it's pink!

I have had this little lady printed out and ready to colour for ages and she is certainly magical...just look at those wings, which of course, demanded a large amount of sparkle!

Uh oh...this was the last piece of this lace and I love it so much...I will just have to go shopping ;-)

    A perfect example of when less is very much more here Kat.... she is the most beautiful centrepiece - and needs very little to detract your eye from admiring her... especially your colouring of her! Wonderful folds, perfect hair... and I love that grass too (ooh and the glitter of course!)... altogether perfect!

    Super colouring of a beautiful image.....love your CAS design. Now to find a home for all your stuff in your new storage...feels good....until then you wont know where anything is!! lol

    Kat, everything about this card is divine. Your card design is gorgeous with your lovely stitching, lace and charm. (I am VERY partial to polka dots too)!

    However, the absolute scene stealer here is your truly exquisite colouring. I just love everything about it.

    The image is a stunner but it is your colour work that sells it! Her hair is beautiful and the shading on the dress and mushrooms just wonderful. The colours you have chosen all work so well together and of course, her sparkly wings just finish the whole look perfectly.

    Beautiful all round Kat, you are FAB!

    (I love Ikea, Nige HATES it - must be a boy thing)!

    Kat this is an enchanting card. I love the CAS design in disguise! That delish lace and the sweet pink bakers twine dress it up so perfectly. Love the lil' daisy charm too.
