Hello lovely people,
It's another busy week for me but Dr. Hubby and I did squeeze in a little coffee date this morning. I decided not to have cake...don't worry, I'm feeling perfectly well but it's nice and sunny so I'm holding out for an ice cream this afternoon!

Now, despite keeping up well with visiting all your lovely blogs I haven't done so well with actually posting anything on my own blog - oops!
So, I have a sweet little CAS card to show you, using a new floral stamp set, which I fell in love with and just *had* to have...and then when it arrived I suddenly realised that I had no idea what to do with it!
After a little brainstorming and Pinterest searching I came up with several ideas, so this is the first of a couple of cards I made using it.
I have simply stamped the flowers in 2 shades of Versacolour ink (lilac and heliotrope) and added the dot stamp around them in silver.
I used my MISTI for this and it was especially useful for adding that sentiment - no more 'eek!' moments for me :-)
I hope you are all having a good week and it's all downhill to the weekend from here !
Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave,

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who falls in love with things and then has no clue what to do with them lol! Though I admit that I have mostly (only mostly) managed to hold off on buying things I know I'll find difficult to use lately....but that's mostly because I'm running out of room! You did a great job here though and I love the 2 shades stamping. The MISTI is brilliant for adding sentiments isn't it? I must admit that before I bought mine I would never have added a stamped sentiment to a finished stamped image for fear of mucking the whole thing up, but now I'm totally fearless in that respect :) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kat! Love the pretty flowers and design. Just beautiful. Mmmm, ice cream. Yum! Hope you enjoyed it :-) Hugs, Jayne x
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Don't you love your MISTI? I've saved dozens of trees by using it. I tied to use a SSS set last week with similar flowers and failed miserably...I blamed it on not having the right ink colors but you have inspired me to try it again. Enjoy your ice cream!
ReplyDeleteThe times I have bought something crafty and sat there with a "Now What" expression Kat...you have done a gorgeous CAS card..love the little dots in between those flowers and the sentiment is fabulous.
