Oh, what a beautiful sunny morning; I hope you have some sunshine where you are too!
I'm glad the weather is not playing along with our theme at Totally Gorjuss this week which is 'Water Water!'
This theme immediately made me think of this gorgeously cute mermaid from Tiddly Inks.
I thought the image would work well on a circular card and I layered up several scraps of paper for the fishtail banner.
I have been a little nervous of attempting the colouring on this stamp but inspired by some fab cards like this amazing card from Yasmine and a wonderful tutorial on YouTube from Kit and Clowder I gave it a go.
And I just had to give her red hair!
Card recipe;

So, now you have seen my card, maybe you would like to pop over to Totally Gorjuss and see what my lovely teamies have made. If you join in our challenge you have a chance to win the prize from our fab sponsor this week, Heather's Hobbie Haven.

Hi, Kat! Wonderfully created circular card here! Love all the layers and the one horizontal panel containing the sentiment. Really interesting look. But I especially like the color choices in your layers in contrast with the magnificent shading and colors in your darling mermaid. Her gorgeously shaded red hair looks marvelous and so do all your other colors in the focal image. Kat, thank you for visiting my blog today. This is my first submission to Totally Gorguss, and I am looking forward to participating more often. Thanks again, hugs, de
