Birthday champagne

This was an easy choice for me; girly cards are my favourite because I love using pretty floral papers, pearls and preferably a hefty dash of pink!

I wanted to include some champagne glasses on this design and was struggling to find something I really liked but went for this digi in the end and I rather like it.

I added little liquid pearl dots for the bubbles...don't they look cute?

I am very sad to report that this is the last of this beautiful soft hessian trim...well, I have a teeny bit left to stroke!

    Oh wow, this is so gorgeous! Adore the champagne bubbles, great idea. Love it!

    I love both girly and masculine cards, but would probably go with the latter because I do love doing the 'grungy Tim Holtz in various shades of brown' thing, lol.
    Having said that, I don't personally consider them to be a male-only thing, seeing as how I love the style, and last I checked I'm not male (I think, lol).

    And then the next day, I can't get enough of pink, shabby chic stuff... Maybe I'm just fickle ;-)x

    LOVE - LOVE - LOVE this one Kat (don't I always love ALL of yours?)... but wowwww to the shapes you sew so perfectly around.... then your paper choice... and the wonderful layers!! The champagne flutes are the final finishing touch for me - particularly with the pearly bubbles!

    Kat this is a beautiful card. Your colouring of the champagne glasses is exquisite - perfect bubbles - such a clever idea. I also love your layout and those wonderful papers you have chosen, and as ever, your carefully chosen embellishments look amazing. Shame about the trim but it gives you the chance to find something equally gorgeous to buy!
