Lookin' sharp!

I have a little bonus extra Dies to Die For DT card for you today.

As soon as I saw the new MFT Wild West themed stamp set set I fell in love with the cute cactus so just had to give him a card of his own!

Cactus' just love to pose for photos and this one has been captured with beautiful sun rays behind him, and of course I had to add that fab punny sentiment!

I've created the washi tape with dies and some DP, and although I normally love to layer up my elements for dimension, I chose to keep the 'washi tape' just one thin paper layer and press it down over the edges of the polaroid frame so it looks more like real tape.

It's Friday again, so I'm here with my Dies to Die For DT card and I was sooooo excited to get my hands on the new MFT stamp set full of Wild West themed images :-)

I also used a few other new goodies on this card, including my new stitched arch dies, which I LOVE!  (OK, I could have used a circle die in this particular case but that's not the point...I'm sure they will be super useful - lol!)

I've discovered that a combination of a stencil and a die makes for a great way to add dimension to a mini scene, as I've done with the grass here.

Probably no one is looking at the grass though because that sassy little cowgirl is stealing the show!

I have a Dies to Die For DT card for you today, and it seems that it's Fairy Friday!

I bought this stamp only last week and just had to colour her straight away...and now I think I have a new stamp brand addiction - lol!

Snappy birthday!

Hello lovely people,

 I am really excited to be off to the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford today...and ironically, it's finally scheduled to rain!

So, while I hide under an umbrella either for shade or protection from the rain, here's my Dies to Die For DT card.

I know it was a little while ago but I did promise a third card to complete my trio of beachy/underwater critters cards and here it is!

I'm not even sure I'd be upset if this little crab came and nipped my toes...he's just too adorable!

It's not really visible in the photo but I've added a little glossy accents to his eyes to make them shine :-)

I really enjoy finding ways to personalise cards and with the crab holding his claws in the air it just seemed natural to add in the number...how cute?

This is a very special one as it's Dr Hubby's birthday card and oooh, look at that big number!

I bought this stamp set to use for birthday cards for my nephews who all love gaming, but it was also perfect for my lovely Dr. Hubby :-)

Unicorns and rainbows

What can I say, I'm back on yet another day that isn't usually my day at Dies to Die For - lol!  And yes, I'll be back tomorrow as well, but I've just got so many cards I want to share with you!

I fully admit that I have a serious unicorn addiction but how could I not add these guys to my collection...they are just awesome!

I was so in love with these unicorns that I made a co-ordinating bookmark with one of the other images...oh yes, unicorns definitely rock!

I created the spotty background with a stencil and Distress Oxides, and then stamped the sentiment straight onto the bookmark, which is an MFT die.  I coloured and die cut the unicorn then glued him on top and added a couple of stamped musical notes.
