Beary cosy snow globe

Hello lovely people,

I have a Dies to Die For DT card for you today using some more of my fab new MFT goodies.

I have developed a love/hate relationship with shaker cards...I LOVE the pretty sequin mixes and I  LOVE the finished result but HATE how fiddly they are to put together!

At least the MFT shaker domes make the construction quite a bit easier :-)

Trying to get decent pictures of this card was also not a lot of fun but that's what I get for doing it late last night with no natural light - lol!

The Bitty Bears are the perfect size to go inside the shaker dome and I've coloured this one white to make him a polar bear.

I've added an inked background and snowy hill and of course, that all important sequin mix, which is actually a mix of 2 mixes!

I shook the sequins around a bit for this angled shot...aren't they pretty?

And really, how cute is that little bear?!

If I've tempted you with any of the lovely supplies I've used then you can go straight to the individual products via the links at the end of my post or just pop over to Dies to Die For and have a little browse around!

Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave,

  2. Now, have you perhaps been playing with your new Distress Oxide inks to make the bear's background?!!!
I'm not a fan of shaker cards but you have certainly done your best to change my mind! The sequins are very pretty & that little bear is really cute. Plus the rest of the composition is unfussy so right up my street! Love mum x
